Channel setup

1. Create channel → add your bot as administrator (post messages permission).
2. Post a test message in the channel.
3. getUpdates → copy channel chat ID (usually starts with -100).

Group setup

1. Add bot to group.
2. If privacy mode blocks reads, disable via BotFather /setprivacy → Disable (for some bot types) or ensure bot sees messages.
3. Grab group chat ID from getUpdates.

Keyword discipline in shared channels

Shared channels get noisy fast. Stricter includes:

• Ticker symbols you trade
• FDA, earnings for stock channels
• 0x, listing for crypto channels

Assign one person to weekly filter review. Filters apply per monitored account — not full-site X search.
